Protecting Yourself From The Sun

Submitted by staff on Thu, 08/20/2009 at 4:17pm.

If you choose to go out in the sun there are many good ways to protect yourself from over exposure.

Look at the Menu Guides on the left of this page for detailed information.

Also note that the sun's UV rays are strongest between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. If you're spending the day at the beach, take refuge under a beach umbrella during those hours when the sun's rays are most intense.

You should also check your to find out the day's UV Index.  This index was developed by the National Weather Service and the Environmental Protection Agency, provides a forecast of the expected risk of overexposure to the sun and indicates the degree of caution that you should take when working, playing, or exercising outdoors.

Very good post! keep up the good work.
Search out mcdba certification and mcsd certification where you will be able to see the quality that goes into our test questions.
