Prolonged exposure to UVA and UVB rays that can be seen from the sun and sunless tanning beds can expedite the aging process as moisture is depleted from the skin in as little as ten to fifteen minutes exposure. In order to avoid exposure to the sun that can lead to the depletion of the moisture in the skin while leaving the skin vulnerable to wrinkles, sunscreen should be used on a daily basis, even throughout the winter months.

There is one sure way that you can help to reduce the UV rays in which the skin has exposure to and this is through the continuous use of sunscreen. Although people use sunscreen through the summer months to protect the skin of the entire body, there are few people that apply sunscreen to facial area. Facial skin is the most delicate of skin and should be protected more than any other, as it is thinner in most areas and prone to aging. Ensuring that you use a daily moisturizer that is infused with sunscreen is an effective way to prevent this exposure from causing the formation of facial wrinkles.
Although a golden tan may be coveted, there are many reasons the individual should avoid the tanning bed, aside from the early aging process that it has been known to cause. Sunless tanning increases the risk of the individual developing skin cancer and can also drastically reduce moisture levels in the skin.

As a golden tan is desired, there are many people that are not willing to give up this look because of the increased risk of aging quicker; therefore it is important to take certain precautions while tanning to reduce the risks that come with exposure to UV rays and premature aging. While tanning, be sure to cover the entire body with lotion that contains a high level of moisture. After tanning, a moisturizer should be used on all parts of the body that were exposed to the UV rays; this can help to reduce the risks of the skin becoming depleted of moisture. Proper protection should be worn to protect the eyes, but this protection can also help to protect the delicate skin around the eyes which can become easily damaged by the UV rays which the individual is exposed to while tanning.
Traditional sunscreen that is meant to protect the many parts of the body is often not suited for the skin of the face as the sunscreen can contain ingredients which encompass high levels of oils. These oils found within the sunscreens can make it easy for pores to become blocked and therefore cause breakouts on the delicate facial skin. Specialized sunscreens that have been designed for facial use are available with a high sun protection factor, or SPF to ensure that your skin can remain timelessly beautiful, especially through sun exposure.
Ensuring that sunscreen is worn and sun exposure is limited can help to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and to reduce the signs of aging that can occur within the body. It is important to take all of these aspects into consideration while protecting your sun from the skin and preventing facial wrinkles.
