SUNARC is the Sunlight, Nutrition, and Health Research Center, an organization dedicated to education and research for the prevention and resolution of chronic disease through changes for healthier lifestyles and diets.
SUNARC focuses largely on the benefits of Vitamin D and UV rays for the prevention of many diseases: Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Alzheimer’s, and other chronic diseases. They also focus specifically on cancer, including skin cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, and ovarian cancer. The publish and publicize many research and news articles which highlight these benefits of UV rays, including vitamin D, also including reports of adequate maternal vitamin D-intake lowering infantile autism rates. The benefits of vitamin D can be tracked by ordering Vitamin D based tests through their website.
SUNARC also spends a significant amount of time researching and publicizing the benefits of a vegan, low-fat diet and other dietary guidelines. These important lifestyle choices—ultraviolet radiation through exposure to natural sunlight and artificial UV rays through tanning beds and healthier diet and exercise options—lead to a healthier life devoid of musculoskeletal, autoimmune, heart, and chronic diseases; cancer; rheumatoid arthritis; and other neurological disorders.
