I've heard some people say that tanning can make your skin clear up because the heat from the sun/uv rays will make your skin less oily. But my dermatologist said that tanning can actually make me break out. Does anyone have any personal experience with this? What is the best way to care for your skin while tanning so you don't break out?

I'm a personal trainer so I'm always working out. Obviously the sweat from working out can make anyone break out. Tanning makes you sweat too, so I would just say it's important to keep clean skin so you don't break out. I have no clue if the actual tanning bed is bad for your skin, but probably if you keep it really clean with face wash you'd be good to go.

tanning keeps my skin looking good. its important to moisturize, but i think tanning really helps dry out some of those oils.

I love the way my skin looks with a tan. It looks even in color, you can't see any blotchiness or a pimple here or there is more easily camoflouged, etc., I like to just wear my eye make up and gloss when I am tan, because I don't need the rest.. Versus when I am pale, and have to "fake" the glow, etc., lol

I don't know if tanning can actually make your skin clear up. I actually have a break out because I apply so much sunscreen and it clogs my pores! So maybe your dermatologist is referring to you breaking out from using sunscreen? Or like Connor mentioned, it's probably due to sweat...

 hey my name is brittney my idea would have to be to go to a tanning salon and ask the lady what lotion would be best for you and she will show you and tell you what kind would be best and that way your skin will be healthy and tookin care of

We have 2 reasons for tannig,First is to get Vitamin D and the second one is to change the color of our skin,if you want only to change your skin it's better for you to use product like Melanotan II,it will help you to change your skin color to bronze like without exposing your it to UV rays.

Melanotan Canada || Melanotan Europe
